Hailing from Victoria's rugged South-West. Albert The Second delivers songs and stories with a laidback feel.
A big fan of DIY and keeping it simple, Albert enjoys writing and recording in his home studio nestled amongst the gum’s, on his farm in The Green Triangle, preferring to capture his music with a collection of analog mixers and old reel to reel tape recorders.
Alberts live show is an extension of his love for storytelling around a campfire with the added rumble of a vintage amp and the jangle of a well loved guitar.
Albert The Second released his debut album 'Loose Ends' in late 2025. a psych-folk-subterranean sound of instrumental songs that were inspired by his musical score for "Somewhere Once", a short surf film collaboration with Albert Falzon and the team behind the Australian 70's surf cult classic 'Morning Of The Earth".
In March 2026 Albert The Second will be releasing his latest single "How Lucky Am I". A tragically beautiful. tape hissing, psych folkin, snap shot of the sound from his full length release set to follow later this year. "How Lucky Am I" is like discovering a song you might've missed from the early 70's and you're stoked to have finally found it.
Self-written, self-recorded, self-manufactured. This is DIY at it's best.
